Frosty Friend Gift Bag...

Welcome friends to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!
This week I have a super quick and easy project to share with you...it's a Christmas gift bag!
I've used my Silhouette Cameo and a cut file from SVG Cuts which you can find here!

Here's how my project for the week turned out...

The snowflake die paired with the skating snowman stamp and die combo made super quick and easy decorating!  I've added some Stickles to give it that holiday sparkle, and I've robbed the handles to use in my gift bag from a purchased one that had seen better days and was ready to be recycled.
I decided that it would be fun to create matching tissue paper, so I stamped the skating snowman image multiple times onto white tissue paper using a dark blue ink.

Quick, simple and yet effective enough to gift those Christmas items that you had to purchase because you didn't find the time to do handmade...or you have a few people in your list who don't appreciate a handmade gift but would use a handmade gift bag to pass along another gift!  LOL

Well, that's all for me today...short and sweet!
I hope you've enjoyed today's project...and be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog for more holiday inspirations showcasing the lovely Snow Kissed Collection!

Until next time...

Christmas Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone!
I'm so glad you could join me here today in my little area of blogland!
I have a super treat for you today....actually 24 of them if you're lucky!  LOL
It's another Snow Kissed Collection project created with Heartfelt Creations products!

I won't keep you in suspense any longer!
Here's this weeks projects....a Christmas Advent Calendar!

Now...it's not very often that I will come out and share with you that I love a project...but this one just makes me giddy with happiness!  I love the way it turned out...so much so that I've promised the kids that I will try to make them each one and include them in the designing!

I've used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the phrase along with the pieces for the advent calendar itself!  The entire project has been completed with the Snow Kissed Paper Collection by Heartfelt Creations with the exception of the back...which is a simple white card stock.  I chose this particular advent calendar file because I loved the fact that it had a shadow box area in which to build a scene as I love dimension!

Here's a closer look from a different angle...

I've fussy cut the upper corner greenery image from the same paper that I've cut the scene from for the backing of the shadowbox area.  I've stamped the little snowman onto white card stock and have colored him with my Ranger Distress Markers.  I've fussy cut the ornamental baubles from another of the decorative papers in the collection and applied them to make them seem that they are hanging from the greenery.  As a final touch I've added some Glitter Snow to the bottom of the shadowbox area and up the side, as well as around the greenery section.  I added some extra Glitter Ritz to the snow because I felt it needed more sparkle.  I've also used my Designer Dries Clear Glue and fine metal tip along with some more Glitter Ritz to add some sparkle to the river scene.

Here's a closer peek...

I know I would love to fill this up with yummy chocolates and treat myself to one each day on the countdown to Christmas!

I hope you've enjoyed today's little tour of my latest creation!
I'd love to know what you think...so please feel free to leave a comment for me!

Winter Wedding Favor Box...

Hello!
How are you this morning, afternoon or evening!
If you've been following me for awhile you'll know that every Wednesday brings a
special creation featuring Heartfelt Creations!

For this week I've decided to use the wonderful little box die that comes in the Snow Kissed Collection.  I had an idea for a winter themed wedding or shower with this little box paired with the gorgeous window die from the Botanic Orchid Collection.

Let's take a look...

I chose to add some bridal type stamens to the poinsettias for this project to keep with the bridal theme.  I've heat embossed the flowers with white embossing powder along with the snowflakes.
The flowers have been stamped on a light blue patterned paper from the paper collection and then inked lightly with a blue ink.

Here's a bit of a closer look at the flower arrangement...

The snowflakes have also been heat embossed and then inked with a platinum color ink to give them some shine.  The wooden word has been lightly painted with a white distress paint and then sponged with the platinum ink as well.

Here's a closer look without the little tulle drawstring bag of Hershey Kisses...

I can just picture a crafty bride and her bridesmaids sitting in a room where they've gathered together their manual die cutting machines, a bunch of inks in the colors of the wedding color palette and of course their shaping tools...ready to create these as table favors for their guests.  The beauty of this project is that you can change up the colors, flowers, etc. to match the theme of your wedding!  This would be equally as stunning using orchids, fuchsias, and even daisies!

I hope you've enjoyed today's share!

Snow Kissed Collection Shaker Card...

Notice: It has come to my attention that Blogger has been having some technical difficulties and it would seem that my blog has been affected by one of the glitches involving comments.  In the recent fix, comments are now able to be left by a viewer if you open the blog post you are reading...from there a comment box will open at the very end of that particular blog page.  So sorry for the confusion!  Hopefully Blogger will have this sorted out quickly and normal operations will resume.  Thanks for understanding!

It's another exciting Heartfelt Creations release day...and the new "Snow Kissed" Collection is absolutely stunning!  It's the second holiday/winter themed assembling that has been released this year and is perfect to compliment the "Celebrate the Season" Collection that was released last month!

Here's a little bit more about it...

Bring out the softer side of old man winter in all of your projects with the new “Snow Kissed” Collection by Heartfelt Creations.  An exquisite blending of classic winter scenes depicting gentle snowfalls, candle lit windows, countryside sleigh rides mixed with a sprinkling of fun filled images of frosty snowmen delivers the perfect compilation of winter themed imagery for all of your holiday and chilly season creations.  This newest collection features three cling stamp sets revealing illustrations of towering pine trees and frosty snowmen ideal for creating spectacular winter scenes, a large gift tag perfect for adding that special handmade touch to all of your beautifully wrapped gifts, as well as a wide variety of snowflakes which when paired with the coordinating dies will allow you to build one of a kind dimensional flakes as realistic and individual as those in a gentle snowfall.  The charming paper collection showcases beautiful hues of cozy blues and rich pine greens accented with deep burgundies creating exquisite backdrops to showcase patterns of elegant snowflakes, windswept swirls, playful polka dots and beautiful brocades resembling those found on a cozy handmade quilt.  And, this unique collection brings with it a special surprise…a small gift box die ready to be cut, assembled and embellished, making packaging smaller gifts quick and easy during the busiest time of the year!  So, grab your quilt, cozy on up in your craft room and join us as we bring just a kiss of snow to your craft table….we promise no shoveling required!

I have to admit that I am an old soul and I love the old fashioned image of the horse drawn sleigh in this collection.  I decided that I wanted to create a shaker card with the premade card panel featuring this gorgeous image.  I also knew that I wanted to incorporate the small snowflake stamp and die combination to create some tiny snowflakes to add to the inside of the shaker card, along with the gorgeous evergreen images!

Here's how this week's project turned out...

I've used the pretty evergreen tree stamps from this newest collection in the bottom corner to add to the scene in the centre of the card.  They've been shaped and made to be slightly dimensional.
I've also used some of the elements from last years Sparkling Poinsettia Collection to dress up the top corner with some icy blue poinsettias!  I don't know what it is about using blue for me at Christmas time, but it's definitely one of my go to colors for holiday cards.

Here's a closer peek at those poinsettias...

..and of course I want to give you a close up of the bits and pieces I've used for the shaker elements...

I've added some clear, sparkly seed beads along with the small snowflakes I've stamped, heat embossed and then die cut with the coordinating die.  I love the way they look paired with that gorgeous winter scene of the horse drawn sleigh headed home...or perhaps to Grandma and Grandpa's for the holidays!

There's just always a little something special about shaker cards, isn't there?  Perhaps I love the Christmas versions so much because they remind me of snow globes.

As you can see there are so many wonderful images, stamped illustrations as well as decorative die cuts within this collection that the creativity for your holiday cards will be sparked in so many different ways!

Be sure to pop by the Heartfelt Creations online store to snatch up this collection early as I know the "I Want it All" kit will be selling out quickly!
And, once you've completed you shopping, head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog for more holiday and winter fun inspiration!

Watch this video to learn how to shape the Sparkling Poinsettia.

Watch this video to learn how to assemble a shaker card.

Create a 6"x6" card base from white card stock.  Next cut a piece of navy card stock just slightly smaller than the card base and distress all edges.  Adhere to card base.  Locate focal card panel as shown, as well as the preprinted decorative border shown on top and bottom of card.  Trim down card panel to fit over top distressed card stock and fussy cut decorative border to size and apply to card panel as shown. Using the Cut Mat Create die, cut out center image, apply VersaMark ink to edges of remaining outer frame, add white embossing powder and heat set. Stamp varying sizes of snowflakes onto white card stock with VersaMark ink, sprinkle with white embossing powder and heat set.  Cut using coordinating dies and then using a sponge dauber apply some Platinum ink over top.  Adhere clear card stock to back of panel frame.  Next add foam tape around back center opening.  Place seed beads and snowflakes into center carefully and then adhere image to foam tape making sure your image is facing into front of card.  Adhere to card base using pop dots.  Stamp tree images onto white card stock using a dark green and color slightly with a lighter green using sponge dauber.  Cut with coordinating die and shape slightly using flower shaping tools.  Adhere to card as shown.  Cut out decorative corners and adhere to opposite corners, one on top and one on bottom as shown.  Cut out sentiment, ink edges with a light brown ink and apply to card as shown using pop dots.  Stamp one of the large poinsettias, along with one inking of the smaller poinsettias onto white card stock using a dark blue ink.  Using a slightly lighter blue ink and sponge dauber, ink centers of the flowers working down through the centers of the petals being careful to not reach all the way to the tips.  Cut using coordinating die, shape with a spritz of water and flower shaping kits.  Assemble one large double poinsettia, and one smaller double poinsettia.  Adhere to card as shown.  Stamp one inking of the holly leaves in a dark green ink, and using a green ink use same coloring technique as used for flowers.  Die cut and shape.  Arrange around flowers as desired.  Shape white/blue berries and tuck into flower arrangement.  Add prills to flower centers. As a finishing touch, using the dries clear adhesive and a fine bottle tip, apply glue to veining in flowers and sprinkle with glitter.
