Floral Fashionista Corset Gift Box...

Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening,
depending on where you are reading this!
I'm so glad you're able to stop by my little spot in blogland!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!
It's hard to believe that it is over so quickly, isn't it!
Did you get any crafty items that you had on your wish list?
I hope there were a few Heartfelt Creations items under the tree for you!

Well, it's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, and this week I have some quick and easy packaging I want to share with you!

Are you familiar with the gift/jewelry boxes that you can purchase at your local dollar store.
They are usually white in color and are blank with no design...so you can decorate them in any way you wish!
Well, I just couldn't resist sprucing one up with the Floral Fashionista Collection!

...here's how it turned out...

I am so in love with how this came together!
If you've followed me for awhile, you know that I always feel bad when giving someone a gift card!
This totally makes me feel better about gifting someone a gift card!

I chose a background paper and matted it onto the box cover, trimming is just slightly smaller than the box. I then added a delicate lace like die cut to the top and bottom of the matting.
I actually used one of the pocket accent dies from the Decorative Pocket Accents die and trimmed it to fit!

For the coloring, I've used my Zig Color Clean Real Brush Markers and a watercolor brush. Watercoloring is perfect for this feminine collection as it gives it such a soft feel. In this creation, I chose to watercolor a little more darkly, as I wanted that corset to be a little more brightly colored.

The flowers I have stamped in Ranger Archival Ink - Magenta Hue and Majestic Violet, and have inked their petal tips in the same color after they have been die cut with the coordinating die.
Then, shaping was quick and EZ with the coordinating 3D Petite Florals Flower Shaping Mold!

...here's a closer look at this beautiful corset image and darling florals...

I hope I've inspired you today and that you've fallen in love with the Floral Fashionista Collection as I have! It's just so perfect for so many different occasions!

Be sure to pop on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog as the rest of the design team have created a wonderful assortment of projects for your viewing pleasure!

Altered Gift Bag...

Hello and Welcome!
 I'm so glad you're here!

Today I'm sharing the project that I created on my Facebook Live on the Heartfelt Creations main Facebook page!

Have you ever had a last minute gift you need packaging for...but don't have time to take that quick trip to the Dollar Store for a gift bag! Or maybe the store is closed!
For that exact reason, I always keep a stash of kraft dollar store bags in my craft room so I can create a custom gift bag for those spur of the moment gifts!

...here's a peek at the project that I shared...

I've used the stunning Floral Fashionista Collection!
I absolutely love love love this collection! It's so pretty and feminine...and perfect for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Wedding Showers, or "just because".

This lovely collection comes with the tiniest petite florals! It's so easy to create them...simply stamp, color, die cut using the coordinating die and then shape using the coordinating shaping mold! Plus, you can do so many at once as the shaping mold will shape two to three layers of blossoms!

...here's a close up of these delicate and dainty illustrations and florals...

I hope you're been inspired today!
If you missed the Facebook Live, you can always catch the replay here!

...and here's my first project with this stunning collection...

I just thought this would be perfect for a pretty, feminine Mother's Day card.
I know Mother's Day only happens here in May in Canada...but one can never get inspiration too early, right?

I stamped the corset image onto smooth mixed media paper as I was wanting to do some coloring with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. They work beautifully for giving an image that water colored look! I've been practicing...and while it's not perfect, I'm happy with how this image turned out!

Now, I have to say, that the petite floral blossoms in this collection are absolutely darling!
They are just the most adorable size...and are so very easy to shape with the coordinating shaping mold! Whether you create double blossoms in different sizes, or opt to leave them as single accents blooms...they are just plain perfect!

...and here's a close up of those fantastic Petite Florals...

Of course, the glitter and Nuvo Drops were the icing on the cake!
You can't have a card without glitter, can you?
It just totally adds to the elegance!

I do hope you've enjoyed what I've shared with you today!
