Variations on the Sweet Peony from Heartfelt Creations....

Hello and Welcome!
I'm so glad you've popped in for a visit!
I recently shared several cards on a Facebook LIVE I created using the Sweet Peony Collection from Heartfelt Creations!
I used the new Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, and you can't imagine how beautifully it works to create your florals....whether hand shaped or used in conjunction with the 3D Shaping Molds!

...here's a sneak peek of the peonies we created...

Can you believe these two flowers have been created using the same stamp and die combination from the Sweet Peony Collection! They just take on different characteristics with some minor changes in how they are shaped and layered!

....here's the two card samples I put together during the Facebook Live on the main Heartfelt Creations Facebook Page...

These cards come together so quickly when you have your flowers made!
A pretty card panel, a stamped sentiment and some gorgeous die cut embellishments and you're card comes together quickly and easily!

Again, thanks so much for popping by today!
I hope you've enjoyed today's share...and if you missed the Facebook LIVE, you can always watch the replay here!

Until next time...

Purr-fectly Sweet Times Together...

Happy Wednesday!
I'm so happy you're here!
It's another Heartfelt Creations inspiration day, and I have a project to share with you featuring the adorable Purr-fect Posies Collection!
This collection is just so cute!

...here's a peek at my project for this week...

I've relied quite heavily on the paper collection for this one...I've done quite a bit of layering! I opted to die cut an oval window into the card front and have the kittens on the swing as the center focal point. I've used a piece of decorative paper behind the oval that had some leaves and florals to mimic a tree. I've used some decorative die cuts as layering pieces around the oval window to give the card a soft and whimsical feel!

I've colored up the kitten image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I opted to go with a water color technique. They were stamped onto smooth water color paper using Ranger Archival - Jet Black. I've added a bit of color to the image and have then moved it around using my water brush.

I then stamped the cute little flowers and foliage onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper...I stamped one set in Ranger Archival Ink - Magenta Hue and another in Ranger Archival Ink - Deep Purple. The leaves I have stamped in Ranger Archival Ink - Olive. I've then colored up the pinkish florals with Ranger Archival Ink - Pink Peony, the purple in Ranger Archival Ink - Majestic Violet, and the leaves using Ranger Archival Ink - Leaf Green. I've then die cut them all with the coordinating dies and shaped them using the 3D Purr-fect Posies Shaping Mold.

The shaping mold makes creating these little posies so quick and easy. I love that you can build double blossoms as well as single blooms...they are so pretty either way!

I loved the little sentiment in the paper collection ..."Sweet Times Together". I thought it suited these adorable little kitties...don't you think this would make the most adorable and unique anniversary card!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today!
Be sure to stop over at the Heartfelt Creations blog to take a peek at the wonderful projects the rest of the design team have created for your inspiration!

Until next time...

Have a Purr-fectly Beautiful Day...

Hello and Welcome!
I thought I'd do a quick post of a Facebook Live project I created featuring the Purr-fect Posies Collection!

Have you seen this adorable feline themed collection?
It is just so sweet!
The colors are so softly hued, and those charming kittens will just win over your heart! And, those whimsical posies are just so pretty and delicate!
It's another great collection for any type of occasion!

...here's the project I created on my Facebook LIVE on the Heartfelt Creations main page...

I opted to create just a little scene with this charming little kitten!
I thought she would be so cute sitting in a patch of grass surrounded by pretty posies!
She has been stamped onto smooth white water color card stock and then colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I've die cut an oval window into the center of the card and have used the corner accents from the Regal Pocket Accents Die. Pretty, delicate pocket dies also make wonderful embellishment pieces on your cards and are so very versatile...they don't just need to be used as pockets!

I've stamped the posies in several colors and have then colored them with a lighter version of the same color family. The foliage have been done this way as well. I've then die cut them using the coordinating die and have then shaped them using the 3D Purr-fect Posies Shaping Mold.

I chose a sentiment from the paper collection and cut ribbon ends into each end of the sentiment. I've then traced the background pattern using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and a fine metal tip and then applied Baby's Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter. This gives the card a beautiful sparkle and a bit more interest for the lucky recipient to take in.

This fairly straight forward card doesn't take much time to create and you could recreate this one on the spur of the moment when needing a quick creation to make someone's day!

I hope you've enjoyed today's share!
You can find the full Facebook LIVE here...so you can follow along at your own pace and see how it all came together!

Until next time...

Now, I will be the first one to admit that I am a cat person!
While I love our dog to bits and would miss him terribly, the cats always manage to worm their way into my heart...especially orange and white cats...I have a soft spot for them as they seem to have the sweetest personalities! So, it will come as no surprise that my project has a sweet orange kitten on it!

...here's the shaker card I created for my first project with this sweet collection...

I thought a shaker card would be so much fun to do with this adorable collection!
I created a 6x6 card base and went to work with layering different papers together.
I die cut the circle center out of one of the premade card panels and started assembling the shaker portion of my card.

...and here's a close up for you...

I've colored all of my stamped images using Zig Color Clean Real Brush Markers and have used Ranger Archival Inks for all of the die cut florals and foliage. I won't bore you with those details...you can find all of the colors, etc. in the instructions listed at the end of this blog post.

Of course I've used the new Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper from Heartfelt Creations for all of the florals and foliage. These posies are so easy to shape using the coordinating 3D Purr-fect Posies shaping mold...and this paper just shapes so beautifully in the mold!
You will love it ...I promise!

Did you catch that I've also used one of the new pocket dies as accents in the background? I've glittered them up with Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear so that they really glisten when the light hits them!

I've finished off the posy centers using Go Mango Prills and have added Baby's Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter to all of the stamped and die cut images so that the card has a beautiful shimmer!

Thanks so much again for stopping in to visit with me today!
I do hope you've been inspired with what I've shared with you today!
Be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog to see all of the wonderful projects the rest of the design team have come up with featuring this "paw-sitively purr-fect" collection!

Create a 6” x 6” card base from white card stock. Locate background paper in Purr-fect Posies Paper Collection shown on card sample and trim to fit slightly smaller than card base. Using Ranger Archival Ink – Deep Purple, ink all edges with Stack and Store Dauber. Adhere to card base. Next locate a pink patterned paper within the Purr-fect Posies Paper Collection, as well as premade card panel shown. Trim a piece of pink patterned paper to cover the length of the card and just slightly larger than the premade card panel. Ink all edges on both pieces using Ranger Archival Ink – Deep Purple.

Using a circle die slightly larger than the size used to cut out premade card panel center, die cut a circle window from clear cardstock. Using the same circle size you used to die cut the premade card panel center, as well as the size you just used to cut the clear cardstock, place the smaller circle die within the larger and die cut several circles from craft foam. Using foam circle to gauge where you want your sentiment, use MISTI to stamp sentiment onto premade card panel using Ranger Archival Ink – Deep Purple. Using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, glue the two foam circles together. Next, using the same center circle from the combination you just used, pair it with the eyelet border circle to create a frame from white card stock. Using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and hydra sponge, add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear to eyelet circle frame. Next, again using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, adhere die cut foam circle pieces over sentiment where shaker portion of cards will be placed. Adhere clear window die cut to white eyelet card frame. Add sequins, seed beads and small beads to shaker portion over sentiment. Adhere clear window frame on top of circular foam layer using. Set aside to dry.

Die cut two of the decorative pocket accents from the Regal Pocket Accents Die. Using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and hydra sponge, add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear to each. Set aside to dry.

Stamp two inkings of each size posies from the Purr-fect Posies Cling Stamp Set onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Ranger Archival Ink – Magenta Hue and Deep Purple. Color the posy centers with Stack and Store Daubers using Ranger Archival Ink – Buttercup, the purple flower petals with Ranger Archival Ink – Majestic Violet, and the pinkish flower petals with Ranger Archival Ink – Pink Peony. Stamp two inkings of the posy foliage from the Purr-fect Posies Cling Stamp Set onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Ranger Archival Ink – Olive. Color using Stack and Store Daubers and Ranger Archival Ink – Leaf Green. Die cut all posies and foliage pieces using coordinating dies. Place in 3D Purr-fect Posies Shaping Mold, spritz lightly with water and pass through die cutting machine to shape. Set aside to dry.

Stamp kitten image from Playful Miss Kitty onto smooth white water color paper using Ranger Archival Ink – Jet Black. Stamp one of the large draping posy plant image from the Purring & Playful Cling Stamp Set. Water color all images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and water color brush. Die cut each using the coordinating dies.

Adhere shaker portion of card to pink patterned background matting using dimensional foam tape. Adhere decorative pocket die cuts to card base as shown, and then add shaker portion to card base using dimensional foam tape.

To assemble floral cluster, adhere draping posy plant alongside card as shown allowing one of the blossoms to drape near the sentiment. Next position stamped and die cut kitten image and adhere to card base using dimensional pop dots. Add posy flowers over top posy plant as shown, as well as around kitten die cut. Add several flowers around bottom and opposite side as shown on card sample. Using fine metal tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, add Go Man Go Prills to all flower centers, and Baby’s Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter to all posy petals, leaves and stamped images.
