If you've been a follower here for awhile (if you're not, feel free to follow along by selecting the link on the side bar), you'll also know that I am a huge fan of teapot projects!
I've created a number in the past, and today I've toyed with yet another!
I mean come on...what could be better than a petunia filled teapot?

Allow me to share with you...

Mother's Day is this Sunday, and for those who have not yet started on their creations for mom I thought perhaps this would be a cute idea!

The petunias are so pretty and this is a wonderful flower to shape!

Here's a closer look at the flowers...

The tea pot box card template comes from the Silhouette Design store and has been cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  I thought it was just too cute to pass up doing something with and the petunias seemed perfect for this time of year as we are heading into greenhouses that are filled with rows and rows of them in any color imaginable!
A quick touch of glitter and a banner sentiment and the project was complete!

I hope you've enjoyed my share here today!  If you give this a try yourself I'd love to see your project!  Also, be sure to pop by the Heartfelt Creations blog to check out the amazing creations the rest of the design team have come up with for your inspiration!

Until next time...

Watch this tutorial https://youtu.be/KOy_qNB9OAk to learn how to shape the Classic Petunia.

Choose designer paper from within the Classic Petunia Paper Collection that you wish to use for your teapot.  Cut teapot box file using Silhouette Cameo.  Ink all edges using a pink color ink and assemble box card.   Cut two small strips of card stock to create two sections within the box to adhere your flowers to and then adhere them to box center.  Stamp the large petunia cling stamp set twice onto white card stock using black ink.  Stamp two inkings of the small petunia cling stamp set onto white card stock using black ink.  Stamp one image of the large petunia bouquet from the classic petunia bouquet cling stamp set onto white card stock using black ink.  Color petunia bouquet image and adhere to the inside back panel of the teapot.  Color and shape petunia flowers and leaves as per video above.  Adhere shaped flowers to box card as shown.  (You will need to adhere some flowers to small strips of card stock to gain height, and then adhere the card stock strip to the box card middle rather than trying to adhere the flower to the horizontal center strips).  Cut sentiment strip from paper collection, shape gently and adhere to box card as shown.  Using a dries clear glue, glitter flower tips with Crystal Clear powder.

Gate Themed Christmas Card...

Notice: It has come to my attention that Blogger has been having some technical difficulties and it would seem that my blog has been affected by one of the glitches involving comments.  In the recent fix, comments are now able to be left by a viewer if you open the blog post you are reading...from there a comment box will open at the very end of that particular blog page.  So sorry for the confusion!  Hopefully Blogger will have this sorted out quickly and normal operations will resume.  Thanks for understanding!

Happy Wednesday!
Hello and Welcome!  I'm so glad you're here!

We're still celebrating the holiday season over at Heartfelt Creations, and this week I wanted to share with you a card I created using one of the flip fold inserts from the Flip Fold Album Collection!
The inserts make for such wonderful interactive cards, and are really quite quick and easy to embellish.

I've used the square flip fold insert from the Pocket and Flip Fold Inserts B - in black...
Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B - Black
...that's the first one on the left in this photo.
I've kept the first small fold to hold the main stamped images on my card, I have not folded the middle section...I have left it as a large square which will form the center of my card, with the last top square folding in over the center to create the front of the card along with the small fold.  (Don't worry, it will all make sense when we have a peek at the project!)

So, I decided I wanted to create a scene with the large gate stamp in the Celebrate the Season Collection as my main focal point on this card.

Here's how it turned out...

I've covered the small flip fold piece to the opening of the card using decorative elements from the paper collection.  I've stamped the gate and adhered part of it to the small flip fold so that it will open along with the small flip fold.  I've shaped the gate slightly so it has a curved bend...but you can leave it straight as well.  I've cut the sleigh scene from one of the layout pages from in the collection and placed it behind the gate.

Here's a closer look...

I thought it was such a festive scene to open the gate and find the sleigh all decorated and ready to be filled with gifts!  As you can see I've added some sparkle to the snow beneath the sleigh as well as the poinsettias it has been decorated with.  I've also added a touch of glitter to the poinsettias on the fence as well as the gifts waiting at the gate!

And, then of course there is the inside of the card to complete...

These interactive type of cards are just so amazing to give and to receive, aren't they!
To finish off the inside of this one, I've trimmed down one of the premade card panels in the paper collection and added it in as the focal point for your handwritten greeting to appear!
Should you be gifting a gift card, I think it would be a wonderful idea to include it on the larger panel on the card with an envelope created from the coordinating paper collection!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed today's little bit of holiday inspiration!
There is a whole assembling of Christmas inspirations waiting for you on the Heartfelt Creations blog again this week!  Be sure to stop by and take in all of the beautiful creations!

Until next time...

Locate light blue snowflake patterned paper within paper collection.  Trim out pieces for small outside fold, along with pieces needed for the inside of the card (back of small fold, center panel as well as side panel). Trim slightly smaller than the original measurements if you desire the black frame around each part of the card.  Now locate the 12"x12" layout page that has the large sleigh image on the bottom.  Cut out the sleigh in a square measuring 6"x6".  This will be the image that will appear on the card behind your stamped fence image.  Using a sponge dauber, ink all edges of all the pieces you've cut using a teal colored ink.  Adhere pieces where they belong on the card.  Now locate the strip with the purple poinsettias and trim to fit along front of small flip fold, ink all edges with teal ink and adhere as shown.  Cut out a backing for the back of the card using black card stock to cover up scor line if you desire. Using the preprinted tag from within the paper collection, fussy cut skates and poinsettia image to use in the upper corner on the small flip fold.  Ink all edges with a teal colored ink and adhere as shown.  Stamp gate cling stamp using grey ink and a heavier white card stock.  Cut using coordinating die and ink edges using a teal ink.  Adhere to card as shown.  Stamp present cling stamps onto white card stock - one in purple, one in plum and one in teal.  Add a touch of color using dove blending kit, and cut using coordinating dies.  Stamp one image of the mittens in teal ink, die cut and apply teal coloring using sponge dauber.  Using a dark green ink, stamp one inking of the vine along with the decorative wreath onto white card stock.  Die cut, add a touch of light green color to leaves and some plum color to berries.  Shape wreath, vine and presents slightly.  Adhere to card as shown.  Next, stamp both sizes of poinsettias onto white card stock three times using a dark purple ink, and the holly three times as well in a dark green ink. Sponge poinsettia petals with a plum ink and then sponge dark purple around the edges of all petals.  Sponge insides of the holly leaves with light green ink and sponge edges with a dark green ink.  Shape poinsettias and leaves, assemble a double bloom backed with holly leaves. Adhere to card as shown.  Locate one of the 6"x6" card panels in the paper collection that showcases the sleigh, trim to fit inside center of card and ink all edges with a teal color. Adhere to inside of card. Working carefully, shape the gate into just a slight bend so the center comes outward. Add a touch of glitter to blooms and preprinted elements on outside and inside of card.

Botanic Orchid Birthday Wishes...

Hi There!
So glad you could pop in for a visit!

It's Wednesday which means I have another project for you from the newest collection by Heartfelt Creations...The Botanic Orchid Collection.

For this week I chose to use the hummingbird stamp which has many different hummers on it which can be cut out with the coordinating die.  I chose to create a background with them rather than die cut them for this card because when stamped as they are, they totally reminded me of the adult coloring books that are so popular right now!

Here's how it turned out...

I colored the background as well as the images on the sentiment stamp using my Spectrum Noir Blending Pencils along with a gamasol solution and blending stumps.
I've matted the handstamped background onto a piece of teal colored cardstock from the paper collection and cut out the delicate die cut for the sentiment from the same paper.  The sentiment has been adhered flat to the die cut and then popped up off of the background.  The orchids have been created using vellum paper and have been colored with Memento Rhubarb ink.  A touch of glitter and the card was complete.

Here's a closer look at one of the super simple to create vellum flowers...

This is truly a simple card to create, and will also give you a fix if you've been itching to do some of that "adult coloring"!

There are amazing samples and ideas up on the Heartfelt Creations blog again today!
Do be sure to pop on over there for a visit!

Until next time...

Create a 5"x7" card base using white card stock.  Trim a piece of teal patterned paper from the Botanic Orchid paper collection just slightly smaller than the card base to use as a mat.  Ink all edges using a soft brown color.  Die cut the largest decorative oval from the Spellbinders Floral Ovals set from the same teal paper as previously used.  Ink edges using a soft brown color.  Cut a white piece of card stock just slightly smaller than the teal mat.  Using black ink, stamp the assorted hummingbird cling stamp onto the white card stock multiple times to create background as shown.  Color using blendable pencils, gamasol solution and blending stump.  Ink all edges of card stock with a soft brown colored ink.  Adhere to teal mat and then adhere card front to card base.  Stamp sentiment with black ink onto white card stock, color and then fussy cut using scissors.  Adhere to oval die cut.  Adhere sentiment piece to card front using dimensional pop dots.  Stamp orchids onto vellum paper , then heat emboss using a white embossing powder and heat tool.  Die cut using coordinating dies and gently color with dark pink ink from the backside of petals.  Shape gently using flower shaping kit and assemble.  Adhere to card as shown.  Add glitter to flowers on sentiment as well as to edges of orchids.

Thinking of You...

Hi There!
I'm so glad you've taken the time to visit and to take a look around today!
If you're a regular follower, you know that today is Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!
We're currently still creating with the Enchanted Mum Collection, and take my word for it, the design team has certainly created some enchanting works of art with this stunning collection.  The Heartfelt Creations blog is just full of a fresh dose of inspiration each and every Wednesday!

This week I have used the paper collection, and several of the stamps to create a "box card".  I found a cutting file in the Silhouette Design Store and decided this would make a unique paper craft.

Here's how this creation turned out...

It is super cool how this card opens into a box and reveals the message inside!

Here's a look at the card when closed and secured with the belly band...

...and how about a bit of a closer look at the belly band...

I've included the full instructions at the end of this blog post should you be interested in recreating a version yourself!

Be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog today when you have an extra moment...there will be so much to ohhhh and ahhh over!

Choose a 12"x12" designer paper from within the Enchanted Mum Collection to use as the card base and belly band.  Cut card base and band using your electronic die cutter and cutting file.  For the side panels, choose a patterned paper with some larger images and cut using paper trimmer so you are able to pick out the specific area of designs you are wanting to use.  Ink all edges of card pieces and card base using a light brown colored ink.  Assemble card base and apply side panels.  Choose a small pre made card panel from the paper collection and trim to fit centre of box card.  Ink all edges using the same brown colored ink and apply to inside of card.  Color the dragonfly and mum image pictured using distress markers straight onto the rubber stamp.  Gently huff on rubber stamp to reactivate ink and stamp onto white colored card stock.  Allow to dry slightly and then gently pass a wet water brush over the image to blend slightly. Adhere prills.  Stamp a second dragonfly image, color and fussy cut. Using a glue pen brush over the dragonfly lightly and apply Glitter Ritz.  Bend the wings up gently and adhere body over the original stamped image, allowing the wings to rise creating a 3D effect.  Adhere flower image to card.  Choose a ticket sentiment to add to the bottom of the flower image, ink all edges with brown ink  and then apply to card using 3D pop dots. Die cut one of the  large dies from the Arianna Lace Die Set in a light pattened colored paper from the Enchanted Mum Paper Collection, as well as two of the petal style dies and two of the longer detailed die.  Adhere large die cut to the centre of thte belly band, along with the two petal style die cuts one on each side of the large die cut.  Place one of the long detailed die cuts onto each side of the belly band which will fold to be the wrap around to the back.  Stamp the mum image using a light coral color.  Using a sponge dauber, apply the same color lightly to both the front and the back of the stamped image.  Die cut using the coordinating die.  Using just the two smaller flowers, shape petals using the Deluxe Flower shaping Kit and then fold each in half.  Once folded in half, reopen and apply a small amount of glue to the fold and refold.  Now, glue the smaller half bloom to the larger.  Add prills and set aside to dry.  Stamp the smallest flower in the same coral color twice and shape into  two flower buds. Color the sentiment stamp using the same technique you used to color the dragonfly and mum image.  Stamp onto white card stock and die cut using the coordinating die.  Adhere to card using 3D pop dots, doubling them together one on top of the other so that the sentiment image stands up off the card a little further.  Adhere flower and buds to card.  Stamp the leaves from the mum image in the Enchanted Mum Bouquet Cling Stamp Set twice.  Color using several shades of green ink and die cut using the coordinating die.  Shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Kit and a spritz of water.  Adhere leaves to card as shown.  Lastly, add in the crystal swirl embellishments.

You're the Best...

Welcome!
Grab a cup of coffee, tea or favorite cold beverage and kick your feet up
and visit with me awhile!

It's Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, which is always such a treat!
If you don't find inspiration here, I promise you will find it on the Heartfelt Creations blog because the projects there are always so amazing!
It's also a special Wednesday this week because we are participating in a blog hop with Art Anthology!  I had the pleasure of using some of their products on a few of my creations and am excited to share with you!

This week I've continued working with the Blazing Poppy Collection.
It's filled with such beautiful prints and colors.

Here's where my creativity took me this week...

I simply love the color palette of this collection paired with black.
I think you land up with such an elegant looking creation!

Here's a closer look at the poppies...

When I found these sparkly embellishments in the clearance section, I bought them all in every color they had knowing that they would make fantastic flower centres.  I love how they look with these poppies!  If you look closely, you'll also see some sparkle on the poppies.  I've achieved this by using the Art Anthology Sorbet - Dazzle paint.  I've used a small paint brush to just apply a thin layer all over the flowers.  It's too bad that it's so hard to see in the picture because it give the flowers a beautiful hint of shimmer.  I've also used it on the background where I've stamped the poppy image.

Here's a close up of how that turned out...and it's a little easier to see the glitter...

That beautiful shimmer just brings the glamour of the card up to a whole new level.
The gorgeous stamped image has been colored with my Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils along with a blending solution.  The 3d poppies have been stamped onto a textured card stock and you can see how the texture lends an extra interest to the flower as the pencils allow the texture to shine through.

Now, since we're doing a blog hop with Art Anthology this week, I'd like to also point out that the Father's Day card I created for my dad has also used another one of their fabulous products.  You can find more information and photos of that creation here

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit with me today!
My wish for you is that you leave with your soul feeling refreshed and  uplifted...and that your creative side is inspired as well!

Should you desire detailed instructions on how this card has been created, as well as a full supply list please visit the Heartfelt Creations blog where you are able to view them and even print out a copy for yourself to follow along.

Until next time...

Countryside Evening Any Occasion Card

Welcome back!
I'm here today with a second Heartfelt Creations post for the week!
I just couldn't resist making a card with the Countryside Evening paper collection paired with the gorgeous fuchsia flowers!

The Countryside Evening paper collection is one that I love love love...well I love love love each and every one of the collections...but this is one that I hoard and hate to cut into!  LOL  I love the colors of the papers and decided that they would be perfect paired up with fuchsias on a celebration card for any occasion!
After all, we can never have too many any occasion cards tucked away for those special moments that tend to creep up on us!

Let's take a look at the card I created by pairing these two collections together...

I decided to go with a little bit of a different color theme for the fuchsia which is so out of my comfort zone...I tend to stick to the colors of the real flower for some reason.  But I do have to admit that they came out with an interesting look...

The flowers were stamped on a blue paper from the Countryside Evening collection and then inked lightly with a purplish color.  The "cap" to the flower as well as the stamens have been inked slightly with a blue ink.  I've then added some Vintage Photo Stickles to the edges of the petals as well as a dot to the bottom of each stamen.  Sorry the picture isn't the best...I did find this one hard to photograph as the colors are all so monochromatic.

I've added some golden colored rhinestones around the sentiment as well as around the leafy areas to add some extra sparkle and interest.  I've also used some lace type ribbon to keep with a more country feel...as well as some gold twine to bring a touch of glamor.  I've fussy cut the small bird from one of the pre made card panels in the paper collection.  And, doesn't that decorative oval die cut look beautiful paired up with the pretty lace design printed on the paper.  The last bit I wanted to point out is the background behind the decorative oval...to tie in the fuchsia theme, I've stamped the Fuchsia Spray Cling Stamp Set in navy ink.  It's hard to see in the picture, but it gives the card just a little extra interest.
Here's a little closer look...it's just such a subtle detail...

Well, I hope you've enjoyed what I shared with you today!
Heartfelt Creations makes it so easy to mix and match all of their different collections!
Remember that next week brings a new release!  Have you seen the previews of the Blazing Poppies Collection?  It's another one you won't want to miss!

Cut a piece of white card stock measuring 41/4" x 12" and fold in half to create your card base.  Locate the background paper shown here in the paper collection and cut to cover card base.  Mask off any area on the card base you do not wish to have any image stamped over.  Using Paris Dusk Memento color, ink the Fuchsia Spray Cling Stamp Set, and create a patterned background in the open area of the paper.  Ink all edges of the card front with a light brown ink.  Using a light cream patterned paper from the paper collection and a manual die cutting machine, cut a decorative oval.  Next, locate the oval image shown which is part of a smaller premade card panel.  Die cut the oval image using the Spellbinders oval die. Ink around the oval with a light brown ink.   Using the same paper you cut the decorative oval, trace the Spellbinders oval die you just used around the outside of the die to create a mat for the oval image.  Once again ink with a light brown color.  Adhere both ovals together.  Using the Nautical Blue Memento ink, stamp the sentiment of your choice.  Adhere card front to the card base.  Using a spray adhesive apply the decorative oval to the card base.  Next adhere the matted oval to the card as shown.  Choose a lighter blue paper from the paper collection and stamp your fuchsia images.  Lightly ink the flower portion with a soft purple in some areas and a light cream colored ink in others with ink tool.  Ink the stamen and flower tops with a blue colored ink.  Die cut the flowers with the coordinating die.  Shape flowers, one in each size.  Next, using the same blue paper, stamp several of each of the stamps in the Open Leaf Cling Stamp Set.  Die cut using the coordinating die and shape as desired.  Lastly, using a darker green paper from the paper collection die cut one vining corner from the Cut Mat Create 2B die.  Snip into pieces.  Begin by placing your leaves around the sentiment oval as well as positioning your flowers where you would like them to be.  Once happy with placement adhere to card, filling in more leaves as needed.  Create loopy bow and attach as shown.  Take snipped pieces of the vines and add where desired within the leaves.  Lastly add gold tone gems as desired.  For the finishing touch add some stickles to the tips of petals on the flowers as well as to the bottom of the stamens.  You now have an any occasion card ready for that next special event...whether it be a wedding, anniversary, or birthday!
