On Your Special Day....

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!
It's another Heartfelt Creations inspirational post today!
I'm going back in time with the Sweet Peony Collection!

The peony is among one of my favorite flowers, and this collection is just perfect for all occasions!
Since wedding season is coming up, I thought it might be fun to design something that could be used for such an occasion! Of course, with the fabulous sentiment I've used on today's project, you could also make this a birthday card!

...here's how the project came together...

The beautiful Regal Frame is the perfect addition to add a touch of elegance to all of your handmade greeting cards. To add a bit more sophistication and elegance, I've also added the eyelet border from the Sweetheart Borders Die.

...and the peonies...
I just love making the peony flower!
You can assemble it in so many different ways to get so many different looks!
For this project, I decided to just go with the traditional peony look!
I added some of the Leafy Accents into the floral cluster. They give
any floral cluster such a realistic appearance!

The finishing touch was the Baby's Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter.
It has just a hint of pink shimmer and is the perfect way to add a glistening shine to the project!

I do hope you've enjoyed today's share!
Be sure to pop on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog to see the rest of the wonderful projects the design team have created for your inspiration!

Until next time...
Project Supplies & Instructions

Other Products: white card stock, paper trimmer, scissors, MISTI, mist bottle, water, BigShot die cutting machine, foam tape, hot glue gun

Create a 6 x 6 card base from white card stock. Trim out background card panel from Sweet Peony Paper Collection slightly smaller than card base. Trim out small premade card panel with floral filled oval center. Ink edges using Stack and Store Dauber and Ranger Archival Ink – Coffee. Adhere large square background panel to card base.

Die cut long eyelet lace like die cut from the Sweetheart Borders Die from white card stock. Using scissors, trim down to fit onto background panel. Once again using white card stock, trim one frame die cut from Regal Frame and Accents Die. Adhere frame die cut over oval center on small premade card panel.

Apply dimensional foam tape to small premade card panel. Position lace like die cut near the left side of where the smaller card panel will attach to card base. Once happy with placement, adhere lace like die cut to card base using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. Then adhere small premade card panel over background panel on card base as shown. Stamp sentiment onto card base using Ranger Archival Ink – Coffee.

Using Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, stamp four inkings of each of the peony petals from the Large and Small Peony Cling Stamp Sets using Ranger Archival Ink – Plum. Using Stack and Store Daubers, color all petal pieces using a mix of Ranger Archival Ink – Rose Madder and Tea Rose. Die cut using coordinating dies. Ink all petal tips and backside of petals using Ranger Archival Ink – Plum. Follow this video for instructions on how to shape the peony flowers using 3D Basics Flower Shaping Mold. Shape one large flower, one mid sized peony, and one flower bud.

Stamp each of the larger, and smaller size foliage in both Large and Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp Set onto flower shaping paper using Ranger Archival Ink – Olive. Using Stack and Store Daubers, color using Ranger Archival Ink – Leaf Green. Die cut using coordinating dies and shape by hand using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Stamp one inking of each of the foliage pieces from the Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Ranger Archival Ink – Olive. Using Stack and Store Daubers, add a combination of Ranger Archival Inks – Leaf Green and Plum. Die cut using coordinating dies. Again using a Stack and Store Dauber, ink edges lightly with Ranger Archival Ink – Coffee. Place in Leafy Accents shaping mold, spritz lightly with water and send through die cutting machine.

Adhere larger Leafy Accents foliage piece in center of card where floral cluster will be placed. Place peony flowers onto foliage as shown, but do not adhere yet. Snip Leafy Accent that has the vining tendrils in half. Determine where you want each half to appear in floral cluster – one on top of cluster, and one at bottom. Adhere flowers to cluster, then add in peony leaves into cluster as shown.

Using a fine metal tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, apply Baby’s Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter onto flower petals, leaves, and preprinted images on all decorative paper.

Variations on the Sweet Peony from Heartfelt Creations....

Hello and Welcome!
I'm so glad you've popped in for a visit!
I recently shared several cards on a Facebook LIVE I created using the Sweet Peony Collection from Heartfelt Creations!
I used the new Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, and you can't imagine how beautifully it works to create your florals....whether hand shaped or used in conjunction with the 3D Shaping Molds!

...here's a sneak peek of the peonies we created...

Can you believe these two flowers have been created using the same stamp and die combination from the Sweet Peony Collection! They just take on different characteristics with some minor changes in how they are shaped and layered!

....here's the two card samples I put together during the Facebook Live on the main Heartfelt Creations Facebook Page...

These cards come together so quickly when you have your flowers made!
A pretty card panel, a stamped sentiment and some gorgeous die cut embellishments and you're card comes together quickly and easily!

Again, thanks so much for popping by today!
I hope you've enjoyed today's share...and if you missed the Facebook LIVE, you can always watch the replay here!

Purr-fectly Sweet Times Together...

Happy Wednesday!
I'm so happy you're here!
It's another Heartfelt Creations inspiration day, and I have a project to share with you featuring the adorable Purr-fect Posies Collection!
This collection is just so cute!

...here's a peek at my project for this week...

I've relied quite heavily on the paper collection for this one...I've done quite a bit of layering! I opted to die cut an oval window into the card front and have the kittens on the swing as the center focal point. I've used a piece of decorative paper behind the oval that had some leaves and florals to mimic a tree. I've used some decorative die cuts as layering pieces around the oval window to give the card a soft and whimsical feel!

I've colored up the kitten image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I opted to go with a water color technique. They were stamped onto smooth water color paper using Ranger Archival - Jet Black. I've added a bit of color to the image and have then moved it around using my water brush.

I then stamped the cute little flowers and foliage onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper...I stamped one set in Ranger Archival Ink - Magenta Hue and another in Ranger Archival Ink - Deep Purple. The leaves I have stamped in Ranger Archival Ink - Olive. I've then colored up the pinkish florals with Ranger Archival Ink - Pink Peony, the purple in Ranger Archival Ink - Majestic Violet, and the leaves using Ranger Archival Ink - Leaf Green. I've then die cut them all with the coordinating dies and shaped them using the 3D Purr-fect Posies Shaping Mold.

The shaping mold makes creating these little posies so quick and easy. I love that you can build double blossoms as well as single blooms...they are so pretty either way!

I loved the little sentiment in the paper collection ..."Sweet Times Together". I thought it suited these adorable little kitties...don't you think this would make the most adorable and unique anniversary card!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today!

Have a Purr-fectly Beautiful Day...

Hello and Welcome!
I thought I'd do a quick post of a Facebook Live project I created featuring the Purr-fect Posies Collection!

Have you seen this adorable feline themed collection?
It is just so sweet!
The colors are so softly hued, and those charming kittens will just win over your heart! And, those whimsical posies are just so pretty and delicate!
It's another great collection for any type of occasion!

...here's the project I created on my Facebook LIVE on the Heartfelt Creations main page...

I opted to create just a little scene with this charming little kitten!
I thought she would be so cute sitting in a patch of grass surrounded by pretty posies!
She has been stamped onto smooth white water color card stock and then colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I've die cut an oval window into the center of the card and have used the corner accents from the Regal Pocket Accents Die. Pretty, delicate pocket dies also make wonderful embellishment pieces on your cards and are so very versatile...they don't just need to be used as pockets!

I've stamped the posies in several colors and have then colored them with a lighter version of the same color family. The foliage have been done this way as well. I've then die cut them using the coordinating die and have then shaped them using the 3D Purr-fect Posies Shaping Mold.

I chose a sentiment from the paper collection and cut ribbon ends into each end of the sentiment. I've then traced the background pattern using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and a fine metal tip and then applied Baby's Breath Ultrafine Transparent Glitter. This gives the card a beautiful sparkle and a bit more interest for the lucky recipient to take in.

This fairly straight forward card doesn't take much time to create and you could recreate this one on the spur of the moment when needing a quick creation to make someone's day!

I hope you've enjoyed today's share!
You can find the full Facebook LIVE here...so you can follow along at your own pace and see how it all came together!
