Have a Beautiful Day...

It's so great to "see" you today!
Thanks for stopping by my small corner of the world to check in on what's going on!
As you know, it's Wednesday which means it's another Heartfelt Creations share!
Today is my last project with the Winking Frog Collection!
It's such a great collection perfect for any age and really any occasion!

I decided that I wanted to create a marsh scene and thought an easel card would be fun to make and I would have tons of room to create the scene with a bunch of elements from the collection!
The square pre made card panels made it so easy to start designing!

Let's take a look at how the project turned out...

I decided to give the piece a touch of elegance by adding the ornate die cuts to both the top and bottom of the card.

Here's a closer view of the little scene I created on the card front...

...here's a closer peek at the bottom portion of the card...

...and of course we need to have a closer look at the lily pads and water lilies that act as the stop on the bottom of the card base...

As you can see I've used an number of stamps and dies on this creation, done some die cutting and some fussy cutting from the paper collection as well.  I've also added a touch of glitter here and there to add to the interest of the piece.  I've added the sentiment strip to the top of the card as I thought it just summed up what these fun and care free frogs would be trying to tell us!

I hope you've enjoyed your trip to the marsh today and have enjoyed seeing all the fun the Winking Frogs have been having!  Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog for some more amazing inspiration...and if you haven't had a chance to check out the sneak peek of the new collection being released in April, it's there for you as well!  I'm sure you'll be "berry" impressed!

Wishing You a Beautiful Day!

Until next time...

Begin with a 6"x6" white card base.  Fold the top portion of the card down in half to meet the fold line to create the easel portion of your card. Die cut the decorative edge into the bottom portion of the card as shown.  Cut the same decorative edge as a separate piece and set aside to be added to card later.  Locate the 6"x6" decorative premade card panels for the bottom and main portions of the card.  Ink all edges using a brown colored ink.  Adhere preprinted card panel to bottom of card base as shown.  Cut a white 6"x6" piece of white card stock, adhere separate decorative die cut to top and then second preprinted card panel over that.  Fussy cut floral corners as shown on the bottom of the main image card panel.  Ink all edges with a brown colored ink and adhere to bottom corners of main image card panel.  Fussy cut sentiment strip, and die cut preprinted toadstool image from paper collection using coordinating die. Ink all edges with brown ink and add to top of card.  Using white card stock and black ink, stamp one of the leaping frogs images, one of the winking frogs on vine, one inking of the water lily and lily pads cling stamp set and one dragonfly.  Color using distress markers, die cut using coordinating dies and then shape each embellishment using a spritz of water and the deluxe shaping tool kit.  Using pop dots, adhere leaping frogs and frogs on vine to main card panel as shown.  Adhere main card panel to easel portion of card and determine where to place lily pads with water lily so card is able to remain standing when open.  Adhere lily pads and water lily as shown.  Adhere dragonfly to floral cluster.  Fussy cut varying sized dragonflies from the paper collection, ink all edges with a brown colored ink and adhere to card as shown, making the largest in the upper corner dimensional by adding a second shaped dragonfly over top.  Add small shaped flowers to the vine where frogs are playing.  Adhere pink Gala Glitz to flower centers, glitter to flower tips and any other flat elements on the card you desire, and yellow Stickles to lightning bugs.

Frolicking Froggie Fun...

Welcome!
Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit with me today!
Life has been somewhat chaotic at our house for the last two weeks, so for this weeks share I decided to create a quick and simple card featuring the Winking Frog Collection by Heartfelt Creations.

Here's a peek...

I love that Heartfelt Creations has the various sized card panels that make creating a card in a pinch so quick and easy!  For this creation, I've chosen a background paper, popped up the pre made card panel, shaped two lily pads and created one larger water lily!  For the extra special finishing touches, I've die cut the coordinating printed frog images and popped up three of them using dimensional pop dots...and of course added some dew drops to the water lilies.  A touch of glitter and you've assembled an adorable project in just a short matter of time!

How about a closer look at the aquatic plants...

Well, that's all for me today...short, sweet and to the point!
Be sure to head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog to check out the assortment of projects the rest of the design team have come up with this week for your inspiration!

Until next time...

Watch this video to learn how to create and shape the flowers.

Begin with a white 4.25"x5.5" card base.  Choose a background paper from within the paper collection and trim slightly smaller than the card base allowing a white border to show.  Ink all edges with a brown color ink and adhere to card base.  Locate the pre made card panel shown and stamp the sentiment onto the panel using black ink.  Ink all edges of the panel with a brown colored ink.  Using pop dots, adhere panel to card base.  Stamp the water lily cling stamp set onto white card stock using black colored ink. Using sponge daubers, color images and then die cut using coordinating dies. Shape lily pads and water lilies.  Adhere aquatic flower cluster to card as shown.  Locate a matching leaping frogs image from the paper collection and die cut using the coordinating die.  Using a scissor, trim the frogs apart.  Adhere three of the frogs to the card panel image using pop dots to give the image extra added dimension.  Lastly, apply glue to water lily petals using a fine tip and sprinkle flower with glitter and adhere dew drops to lily pads as desired.

Together We Have It All...

Happy Hump Day!
Have you been enjoying the current collection by Heartfelt Creations....the Winking Frogs?
I love them!

This week I decided to incorporate a few different dies from a few past collections on my project!
I've used a decorative die from the Everyday Heroes Die Collection, the Fleur Pocket Dies from the Flip Fold Album Collection, as well as the heart shape from the Timeless Amour Die set.

Allow me to show you...

I did a bunch of layering on this particular creation.  I loved the smaller, rectangular premade card embellishment panel with the fiddle'n frog and decided that he really needed to serenade the adorable frogs in love!  They were cut from one of the premade card panels within the collection.

I stamped the lily pads and flowers and then heat embossed them with Stampendous Frantage Aged Hunter Embossing Powder.  It's a beautiful blend of greens and golds that leave a wonderful texture as well.  After embossing and die cutting the stamped images, I took the lily pads and sprinkled a little bit more around the edges and heated the pieces from underneath so the embossing powder didn't fly off.

The flowers were sponged with light green and pink ink and then shaped.  I've added some pink Stickles to the tips of the flowers, prills to the centers and then a touch of Stickles to the prills as well.

Here's a closer peek...

This collection is so cute and romantic, isn't it!!!

For full instructions on how to shape the water lily, please see this video tutorial.

Locate 6"x6" premade card panel with the floating frog, narrow premade card panel with the frog playing fiddle, and small premade card panel with frogs in love as shown.  Ink all edges using a brown ink.  Turn square card panel so that the floating frog is on the side of the card where the narrow panel will be placed.  Layer the narrow piece over the square card panel as shown and adhere.  Cut out the circle frog image from the small card panel and set aside.  Die cut the decorative die from the Everyday Heroes die from a light green patterned paper and ink edges with brown ink.  Using the dark green patterned paper die cut the large die from the Spellbinders Majestic Squares, as well as two hearts from the Timeless Amour Collection.  Die cut two of the smaller Fleur corner die cuts from a light patterned paper, and ink edges with a brown colored ink.  Adhere dark green square base die cut to card as shown, then the decorative die on top of it.  Adhere corner dies to card as shown.  Adhere circular frog image using pop dots centered over decorative die cut.  Adhere heart die cuts as shown.  Locate sentiment in paper collection, trim, ink edges with brown colored ink and apply to card with pop dots.  Stamp water lilies and lily pads onto white card stock and heat emboss with embossing enamel.  Die cut using coordinating dies.  Sprinkle a bit of loose embossing enamel around the edge of each lily pad.  Heat from underneath the die cut until enamel melts. Once cooled, add some light green ink to centers and ink edges with a darker green ink. Shape lily pads slightly, and adhere to card using pop dots.  Ink the center areas of the water lilies with a pink ink, and the outer tips with a light green ink.  Shape, layer and adhere to card as shown.  Adhere prills to flower centers, Stickles to tips, sequins as desired and glitter to all swirls around frog with fiddle.
