I Think You're "Beary" Special...

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
Are you ready for another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday?
Have you been checking out all of the creative projects made with the Beary Fun Retreat Collection?
It really is the perfect cozy fall time collection, isn't it!

I have another share for you today featuring one of the lovable, fuzzy friends taking center stage!
Today's card is a quick and simple project and definitely something you could whip up if you were short on time but still needing and extra special card for a friend or loved one!

Here's a peek at today's creation...

As you can see, I've opted to make this card super dimensional!
I've die cut out the center portion of one of the premade card panels, have popped up the background portion of it using just regular pop dots, and have added the oval portion back over top using doubled up pop dots!  I've accented the background with several of the intricate die cuts from the Festive Holiday Die from the Festive Holly Collection.  I just thought these dies gave the piece such a nice country feel when paired with the sunflowers and the plaid background.

I've stamped, die cut and colored the bear eating his honey snack, as well as one of each of the standing sunflower images found in the Beary Fun Retreat Collection. I've accented his little outdoor scene with the grass and the mushrooms from the Wildwood Cottage Collection.

I've then gone ahead and shaped each of the embellishment pieces lightly with my flower shaping kit just so they have a little dimension to them as well.  The sunflowers have been adhered to the card with a dries clear glue, and the little bear has been added with double pop dots so he really stands off the card. The grass has also been adhered to the card with double pop dots and the dome of the large mushroom has a single pop dot under it while the bottom of the grassy portion of the mushrooms has just a small amount of dries clear glue.

Here's closer peek at the super dimension of the little scene I've created on the card...

Don't you just love that Glossy Accents on the honey in the honey pot...it just makes it look all sticky!  LOL

I hope you've enjoyed today's share!

Just Because...

How about an unscheduled blog post today!
It seems like its been forever that I just sat down and created a card that wasn't tied to a design team or a creation that I needed to create to fill an order, etc.
Now don't get me wrong...I love doing all of those things...but sometimes it's nice to just create for no reason!
Today I sat down at my kitchen table and created something just because...call it therapy if you will!

I decided to use some beautiful paper from the Classic Sunflower Collection by Heartfelt Creations.
To play with this gorgeous fall color palette and stunning images... and never mind the fact that I love sunflowers...it just seemed like delightful, no stress crafting at its best!

Wanna see what I created?

I had the most fun just crafting this card!
Some flower making, some fussy cutting, some layering and some glitter!
All my faves!
A sentiment that really works for any occasion makes it a handy card to have ready to give away!

I hope you've enjoyed taking a peek!

Until next time...

Giving Thanks...

Here in Canada we are preparing for our Thanksgiving which is approaching very quickly.
The leaves have almost come off the trees signifying that autumn is certainly here and old man winter isn't far behind.
The last produce from the gardens has been coming in and it's time to start doing fall cleanup around the yard.

Before autumn decides to leave us, we at Pile it On wanted to have a seasonal challenge for you showcasing the beautiful season.
So...our theme this week is...

"Autumn"

I chose to use a thanksgiving digi from our sponsor.

Let's have a peek...

I colored up the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and decided that I would make a smaller sized note card.  I chose some patterned paper that just reminded me of a warm and cozy quilt.  I then added a little sparkle with some sequins! (Sorry the picture has such a glare on them!)
There you go...quick and easy!

Before I go, I have some sponsor details for you!
We are sponsored this week by ....

Now, although the shop has closed, one lucky winner will still be receiving the four digis that the design team have showcased for this challenge.
To see all of the prize digis, be sure to check out the DT creations at the Pile it On blog!

That's all for me today!
Glad you could stop by!

Until next time...
