Welcome Everyone!
It seems like such a long time since we've visited!
It's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, and this week we're also featuring some of the lovely elements from Creative Embellishments! I've chosen to use a decorative frame on my creation today along with the Blushing Rose Collection.

It's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, and this week we're also featuring some of the lovely elements from Creative Embellishments! I've chosen to use a decorative frame on my creation today along with the Blushing Rose Collection.
Here's my project for this week...
I chose to use one of the flip fold album inserts to create quite a substantial card!
I'll post a few pictures along the way so you can see how the whole thing folds out and what it looks like completely opened!
As I mentioned, I've used the Blushing Rose Collection, as well as the rose stamp and die from the Classic Rose Collection. As I decided which decorative paper to use, I decided that the blue and purple combination would make a soothing Sympathy card.
Let's take a look at how the card flips open...
The image on the side smaller side panel is a stamped and die cut image from the Blushing Rose Collection that I've colored and added onto the panel. The other rose images have been fussy cut from one of the patterned papers.
Let's flip the card open even further...
Here you can see I've matted the center of the card using the same patterned paper I've used on the card front!
And here's a full look at the card totally extended...
The panel on the far left has had all of the roses along the bottom and upper corner fussy cut from a piece of patterned paper as well. The two stemmed roses have been stamped and die cut from the Blushing Rose Collection.
Lastly, here's a close up of the flower cluster on the front of the card...
I've painted and antiqued the chipboard from Creative Embellishments and since I wanted it to be a main focal point on the card I've kept the flower cluster fairly simple starting with a base of foliage, a stamped rose and buds which I've colored blue, shaped and adhered on top of the leaves. I've then stamped, colored and shaped several small purple flowers that I've shaped to look more like a wild rose.
A touch of sparkle to the flower cluster as well as a few of the preprinted roses on the paper both on the inside and outside of the card and it was complete!
I've included the full instructions for creating this card down below, and enough photos here for you to reference should you like to try to recreate this yourself.
Be sure to pop by the Heartfelt Creations blog to see the rest of the wonderful projects the team have created using the items they incorporated from Creative Embellishments as well. Always such a diverse collection of projects for every taste and style!
Until next time...
