It's a Beautiful Life with You...

Can you believe that September is already half gone?
The kids have been in school for a few weeks now, and routine is starting to set in at our house.
The leaves are turning beautiful shades of yellows, reds and browns and you can just feel that fall is in the air!

Today is Wednesday, so if you've been following me for awhile, you know that means it's a Heartfelt Creations share!

Last week the new Classic Rose Collection was released!  Have you gotten yours already?
It's a beautiful flower and with so many different petal sizes, you can create any size rose you're needing for those special projects.

Here's my project share for this week...
(My apologies for the poor color in this photo...it's been raining again and I just couldn't catch a break with some sun!)

I've kept the project quite simple this week...a bunch of layered and dimensional matting creates an effective card base giving the creation some extra pizzaz!  I've colored up some of the stamped images used here using Chameleon Markers...we're participating in a month long blog hop in September...there are some great prizes to be won!

Join in the fun and learn some great coloring techniques! Chameleon Markers is offering a chance to win a 5 pack of Chameleon pens and we are giving everyone the chance to win a $25 Heartfelt Creations Gift Certificate when you leave a comment on the blog and join our creative community on Facebook.

Now, back to more details of my creation...

I've inked the petals on the dimensional rose before shaping with several shades of orange to give the preprinted peach florals on the card front and background a little pop!
I've added some pearls to give the card a soft and romantic touch...and voila...it's complete!
A card that can come together quickly and yet has some stunning dimension and visuals to it!
(You can find the full instructions to creating this project below.)

...and here's a close up of the dimensional rose nestled among the pretty vines...

Did you know...that not only are there a ton more stunning projects posted on the Heartfelt Creations blog created by the uber talented design team...but you can also print off the full instructions to each and every project making recreating any of these cards, layouts or altered art pieces easy!
Be sure to stop by and check it out today!

Well, that's my sharing for this week!
Thanks for visiting...I so appreciate spending time with you!

Until next time...

Watch this video to learn how to shape the Classic Rose.

Create a 6"x6" card base from white card stock.  Locate the decorative papers and card panels as shown on sample.  Trim background mat just slightly smaller than card base.  Trim next two mats decreasing in size as well.  Ink all edges of all matting pieces with a light brown ink.  Adhere to card base using dimensional foam tape.  Locate circle image on premade card panel, fussy cut and ink edges with a light brown color.  Adhere to card front using pop dots.  Stamp one inking of the small rose in the Classic Rose Bouquet Cling Stamp Set, as well as the large vining roses from the Classic Rose Vines Cling Stamp Set onto white card stock using black ink.  Color using Chameleon Markers and die cut using coordinating dies.  Using a spritz of water to the back of each image, shape using flower shaping tools.  Adhere rose bouquet image to card to the right side of the sentiment as shown.  Set aside rose vine image for later.  Stamp one inking of the mid sized rose petals onto white card stock using a deep orange color.  Apply various orange colored base inks to petals using sponge dauber.  Die cut using coordinating dies.  Apply a deep orange ink color to edges of petal tips.  Shape using deluxe flower shaping kit.  Adhere to rose bouquet on card front.  Next, snip rose vine image into pieces to fill in around dimensional rose.  Apply pearls in clusters around shaped rose as well as various locations on card base as shown.  Using a dries clear glue, apply glitter to preprinted rose images on card front.  Apply Rose Gold Stickles to shaped flower cluster.
